College Hostels and Accommodation
Uganda Technical College boosts of seven hostels on Campus namely;

- Speke
- Mackay
- Portal C
- Portal E
- Newton
- New York
It is a hostel of residence for students of UTC Bushenyi providing quality services like accommodation, and a serene environment. The hostel has an accommodation capacity of about 320 students with spacious rooms.
The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Department is the local provider of ICT services
at the college. All students and staff have access to Internet services. The ICT Department collaborates with the academic departments of the College to ensure that the students are adequately computer literate.
The Dean of Students Office is responsible for all students’ accommodation in the college.
1. Non-Residents and Part Time Students
Non-resident students shall not sleep in the College hostels except with permission from the Dean
of students and on payment of the appropriate accommodation.
Any full-time student who wishes to become a non-resident has to inform the Dean of students
in writing through the Warden, before the beginning of a new academic year.
2. Start and End of Semester
a) Every student is required to register at the beginning of every semester with the Warden.
b) Every student is required to vacate the hostel of residence at the close of the semester.
c) Every student shall sign hostel clearance forms after handing over all College property, which must be counter signed by the Warden, ny student who leaves the hostel without clearing or fails or neglects or refuses to hand in his/ her room keys shall be accountable for property found damaged or missing in that room.
